Terms of Use

Effective September 9, 2026

About these terms

Tingogo Inc (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides Block It! and this website. These terms describe use of the app and website alongside the applicable Apple agreements. Please read our Privacy Policy for information about data handling. Contact us at support@tingogo.com.

App license and permitted use

The app is licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, with Tingogo Inc as the application provider. These terms supplement that license; they do not replace it. If there is a conflict about the app license, the applicable Apple license controls, subject to mandatory law.

Use the app and website lawfully and only on devices and accounts you are authorized to use. Do not interfere with service security, infringe others’ rights, or redistribute our app or website materials without permission, except as allowed by law or an applicable license. Tingogo Inc and its licensors retain their intellectual property rights.

You must be able to enter into these terms under applicable law or use the service with the involvement of a parent or guardian where required. Apple’s account and purchase eligibility rules also apply.

Focus features and their limits

Block It! helps you manage distractions using Timer, Schedule, and Daily Limit rules and configurable breaks. You choose which apps or websites to restrict and are responsible for configuring suitable rules.

Blocking, usage reports, notifications, and synchronization depend on iOS permissions, Apple services, device conditions, and system behavior. They may be delayed, inaccurate, interrupted, or unavailable. The app does not guarantee uninterrupted blocking, a particular productivity outcome, or prevention of every bypass.

Some protection settings restrict editing, pausing, deleting, or ending an active rule within the app until the boundary shown in the app. Review those settings before activating them. Keep access to essential communications and services. Do not rely on the app for emergency access, safety-critical restrictions, or supervision of another person.

Movement Breaks

Movement Breaks use camera-based repetition estimates and may miscount. They are a focus feature, not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a fitness assessment. Choose activities suitable for your abilities, use a safe space, and stop if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort. Seek professional advice if you are unsure whether an activity is appropriate. Configure a different break type if movement is unsuitable for you.

Purchases, subscriptions, and trials

Paid features, available subscription periods, prices, and any introductory offer are displayed in the app and Apple’s purchase confirmation before you buy. Availability and eligibility may vary. Apple bills your Apple Account.

Auto-renewable subscriptions renew unless canceled before renewal under the terms shown by Apple. If offered, a trial or introductory period converts to the disclosed paid subscription unless canceled in time. To avoid a trial renewal charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions through the app’s subscription-management option or iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. See Apple’s cancellation instructions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Access after cancellation follows the entitlement and expiration information provided by Apple.

Use Restore Purchases in the app with the relevant Apple Account to recover eligible access. For App Store purchases, request a refund through Apple; eligibility is determined under Apple’s rules and applicable law. Nothing here limits mandatory refund or consumer rights.

Your data and external services

You control the rules and content you enter. The Privacy Policy explains local storage, private iCloud action history, and deletion limitations. Removing the app or a rule may not remove cloud records or backups. Synchronization is not a guarantee against data loss.

Apple services and linked external sites are governed by their own terms. Availability can vary by device, region, operating system, and account.

Third-party software

The app includes third-party software components governed by their respective licenses. Those licenses apply to the relevant components, and nothing in these terms limits rights granted under them. See our Third-Party Notices.

Changes, ending use, and legal rights

We may update features and these terms. We will provide notice of material changes where required and will respect rights relating to existing purchases and subscriptions. The date above identifies the latest revision. You may stop using the app at any time; cancel an active subscription separately if you no longer want it to renew.

The applicable Apple license addresses app warranties, liability, and termination. These terms do not create an additional liability cap or waive rights that applicable law does not allow you to waive, including mandatory consumer protections. They do not add an arbitration requirement or a separate exclusive court venue.
