Privacy Policy
Effective September 9, 2026
Who we are
Tingogo Inc (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides Block It! and its website. This policy explains information processed when you use them. For information we handle as a controller, Tingogo Inc is responsible. Contact us at support@tingogo.com.
Information on your device
Block It! does not require a Tingogo account. Rules, selected apps, categories and websites, schedules, settings, blocking state, break sessions, and operational caches are stored locally. The app and its Screen Time extensions share the information needed to apply your rules through an on-device shared container.
With your permission, Apple’s Screen Time frameworks provide app selection, blocking, activity thresholds, and usage reports. Selections use Apple-provided identifiers. Usage reports are displayed through Apple’s report extension. We do not transmit your selected app identifiers or detailed Screen Time reports to a Tingogo server.
Completed actions and iCloud
Completed Calm Break and Movement Break actions are saved for your action history. Records include the action type, repetitions or duration, completion date and time zone, requested break duration, and identifiers linking the action to its rule, session, and app installation.
When iCloud is available, these records sync through a private CloudKit database associated with your Apple Account. The app does not sync rules, app selections, active blocking state, or settings through this database. Apple operates iCloud under its own privacy policy. We do not receive these records in a Tingogo-hosted database.
Camera and movement detection
Movement Breaks request camera access to display a live preview, estimate body positions, and count repetitions on your device. Camera images and body-position estimates are not recorded or uploaded, and are not used to identify you or train a remote model. The pose-detection component does not send usage or performance metrics to Google. Completed movement results, such as repetition counts, are saved as action history as described above.
The camera is used during the movement flow and stops when that flow closes. Microphone access is not required. You can revoke camera permission in iOS Settings; camera-based Movement Breaks will then be unavailable.
Notifications and purchases
With permission, the app schedules local reminders and notifications. Apple may also deliver system-managed background notifications for iCloud synchronization; these are separate from notification reminders.
Apple handles App Store payments. The app reads verified transaction information, including product and transaction identifiers, purchase dates, expiration or revocation dates, and subscription status, to provide paid access and restore purchases. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple may provide sales, financial, or diagnostic reports under its services and your Apple settings; these are separate from the app’s local rules and camera processing.
Website and support
Our website uses Cloudflare for hosting and content delivery. Cloudflare processes technical information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect the website. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
The website code does not include advertising, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, contact forms, or a cookie-based language preference. The app’s production configuration does not send analytics events to an external analytics service. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to answer your request and resolve issues. Please avoid sending camera recordings or sensitive information that is not needed for support.
Purposes, recipients, and retention
We process information to provide the features you request, verify access to purchases, respond to support requests, and maintain service security. Where applicable privacy law requires a legal basis, these purposes rely on performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in providing support and securing services, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where required. You can withdraw permission for optional features through device settings.
Apple, Cloudflare, and Google Workspace (Gmail), which hosts our support email, process the information needed for their respective functions. We may disclose information we hold when legally required or necessary to protect rights and service security. Providers may process information outside your country under applicable legal requirements and their service arrangements.
Local records remain until removed from the device; the app does not automatically expire completed action history. Deleting a rule does not erase its completed actions. Deleting the app removes its local app data, but may leave iCloud records or device backups. Offloading the app is different from deleting it. The current app does not provide a way to reset or erase synced action history. Turning off synchronization does not itself delete existing cloud records.
We delete support correspondence within 12 months after the request is resolved, unless it remains necessary for an ongoing related issue, dispute, or legal obligation. Correspondence retained for an exception is deleted when that need ends. Hosting and security data retention depends on the service configuration and provider requirements. We do not promise a deletion period for records controlled by Apple or other providers.
Your choices and rights
You can edit or remove rules when the app permits, change notification and camera permissions, and revoke Screen Time access in system settings. Some active protection settings intentionally restrict changes within the app until their stated boundary.
The current app does not offer a dedicated action-history erasure or export control. Contact us for help managing stored information. We cannot directly retrieve or erase private iCloud or on-device records through a Tingogo backend.
Depending on your location and the information involved, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of information we hold, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your local privacy regulator. Email support@tingogo.com to make a request. We may need to verify that the request relates to you and will respond as required by applicable law.
Children, security, and changes
The app is a personal focus tool and does not provide a child account or parental monitoring service. If a child has sent us personal information through support, a parent or guardian can contact us to request its removal.
We rely on device access controls and platform-provided storage and transport protections. No system can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy when features or data handling change, update the date above, and provide additional notice where required.
